The Suleymaniye Hamam is a part of the Suleymaniye Complex, located next to the famous Suleymaniye Mosque. In this complex, you can also find other buildings like a primary school, a hospital, several tombs, and a market. The architect of this complex was Sinan, who was a famous Ottoman architect. Because of its architecture and proximity to the Suleymaniye Mosque, the Suleymaniye Hamam is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Istanbul.
Design and Features
The Suleymaniye Hamam has a similar design to the hurrem Sultan Hamam. It’s interesting to note that the Suleymaniye Hamam was built during a time when Sinan was still an apprentice architect.
